YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) - Three men and a woman were found shot to death inside a house in this northeastern Ohio city, and no arrests were made, police said.

The victims were found Monday night in an upstairs bedroom of the two-story house, police said.

``They were all shot in the head,'' Capt. Michael Vodilko said early Tuesday.

Police declined to comment on a possible motive.

The victims' names were not released. A message seeking comment was left early Tuesday at the Mahoning County coroner's office.

Vodilko said he didn't know who reported the shootings or found the bodies.

Police blocked off an area of about 15 houses during the investigation as a crowd of 50 to 75 people gathered in snowy weather, with many onlookers crying or screaming. A woman waiting outside the house collapsed in tears as authorities removed a body from the house.

In an effort to learn more about the victims, police were interviewing eight people who arrived at the scene after they learned of the shootings, Vodilko said.

The house is in a residential neighborhood of mostly single-family homes.

...and this from the -*Vindicator/Vindy.com*:

Thousands of jobs are expected to be lost this year at restaurants, retail shops and other companies, said Reid Dulberger, executive vice president of the Regional Chamber.

In all, 9,300 jobs will be lost because of cutbacks at Packard, General Motors, Forum Health and WCI Steel, he estimated.

plus this(also from *Vindicator/Vindy.com*):

Roger Nehls, speaking at a commission meeting today, said that, based on the number of regular classroom teachers employed in Youngstown as compared to state minimum staffing requirements and staffing by other comparable districts, Youngstown may be able to cut some teachers.

Itxc3xa2xe2x82xacxe2x84xa2s not possible to predict the number at this point, but reducing staff is the only way to significantly reduce the size of the deficit which is now expected to reach $11.5 million this year, he said.

to *Bruce Springsteen*:

Two cars at a light on a saturday night in the back seat there was a gun
Words were passed in a shotgun blast
Troubled times had come to my hometown
My hometown, my hometown, my hometown...

...Foreman says these jobs are going boys and they aint coming back to
Your hometown, your hometown, your hometown, your hometown...

to *Joe Jackson*:

Back to my home town
Though I know it'll never be the same
Back to my home town
'Cause it's been so long
And I'm wondering if it's still there

*yeah, me too*.........
