Youngstown Christian has positioned itself for the first playoff berth in the program’s history.
The Eagles (6-2) jumped into the No. 8 spot in Division VI, Region 21, following their 28-14 win over Southington last weekend.
Youngstown Christian has games remaining against Ledgemont (3-5) and Pymatuning Valley (4-4), and must win both to have a chance at the playoffs.
Six other area teams are in contention for postseason berths in Region 21.
