No AC for me

Usually about this time on Friday, I'm looking forward to the weekend. The work week is finished, it's summer and I could use the break. However, at 2:55 p.m. on this particular Friday, I'm debating even leaving the office. Sleeping on the table beside my desk seems like a great option. That's because it's currently 96 degrees outside. While that's still 2 degrees short of the 1990s boy band 98 degrees, that's still pretty warm! Now, if I had air conditioning in my car, I wouldn't mind so much. But I don't. And when I get home, it won't be any better. The projected temp for Saturday is 101. I can't wait for that. Not really. So here's hoping the weekend goes by quickly, so I can find my way back to the air-conditioned office. Meanwhile, stay cool out there the next few days and drink lots of cold water — that's my plan.
