Apparently, good customer service is still alive and well after all.
I received a call from a gentleman in Poland this morning who was raving about Stride Tree Service on Tara Avenue. The company has a Youngstown address, but is pretty close to Poland.
He told me the story about some trees he had in his yeard that have needed removed for months. He said he had contacted the township about the issue, but nothing was done. So, he called Stride, who saaid they'd take care of it before December.
"So, on the last day of November, they showed up and took care of it." said the caller. "I think they deserve some recognition for doing what they said they'd do."
The crew removed the trees, including the stumps and replaced them with a few Japanese flowering cherry trees. Did I mention they did this free of charge?
It's service like this that is sometimes hard to find these days. Because of their service, I'm sure Stride will see some new customers coming it's way. If the customer called me to brag abou them, think of how many other people he'll tell.
The old adage is true: Word of mouth is the best advertising.
