The community support for Bryce at the candle light vigil was AMAZING. I am so remorseful that Jessica has to endure the torturous anguish of burying her 8 year old son Bryce TODAY!!! I recognize nothing can take her heartache and agony away, but maybe with the passing of time the sharp edges of unrelenting pain and grief will soften. DYING IS NOT NATURAL. Death was not part of God's plan for us, thus we are rightly devastated. Community support is reassuring, comforting and heartening!! I plan to continue supporting my family and without hesitations!! Please support the family at the funeral today…comfort Jessica for she is fragile. Your many thoughts and prayers are SOOOO appreciative!! Preserving Bryce’s legacy will take a village.
The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral,
begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy.
Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it.
Through violence you may murder the liar,
but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth.
Through violence you may murder the hater,
but you do not murder hate.
In fact, violence merely increases hate.
So it goes.
Returning violence for violence multiplies violence,
adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness:
only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.

The killing of Bryce Linebaugh has nothing to do with civil rights or the the civil rights movement. It is only proper and fitting to look upon his death as a criminal act. The ultimate decision as to the fate of the one who took his life rests with a judge and jury.

My intention is NOT to make it a civil rights movement. The quote is one that I admired for many, many years and has always been close to my heart. I realize HIS death IS a criminal act and the perpetrator will pay for the monstrosity!!!! HE MURDERED A CHILD IN COLD-BLOOD for Heaven’s sake!! Please keep the family in your prayers!!!
