Some Youngstowners are making the same mistake with the post office as they made with the steel industry . They are hanging on too long to a dying industry . They should be looking for new industries & retraining for the new jobs .
No-one owes anyone a job in today's world . Sure , its painful to lose your job , but people just have to grieve & then move on .
None of these people said they were 'owed' a job. There is work there. Stop making up facts. The Post Office is the only industry, public or private, that is forced to pre-fund health care 75 years in advance. That 5.5 billion/yr is why they're going broke. This attack on working people has got to stop. And as working people we have got to stop fighting each other. A decent wage and a secure job is not a sin. We should all wake up and do what they are doing to protect our future.
