What is the salinity of the discharge water (water sent to Warren treatment) generated by Patriot's process? Is Patriot's discharge to Warren treatment facilities safe to drink? Why does this water (Patriot's "product")need another treatment before being discharged to local streams, or does it?Lastly, would the Ohio State laws forbid a well operator from doing the same thing, albeit "on site"?
Patriot could completely filter the water but this would require more expensive equipment.
What they are trying to do is gain a competitive advantage by sending partially treated water to the city owned plant.
Patriot is trying to bully politicians by promising jobs, if only the government will grant them exemptions. Patriot has now hired a public relations firm to press their point.
This is a business plan out of the old Soviet Union, not America. The politicians should not be fooled by a business run by owners with absolutely no experience in this type industry.
