Canfield ends athletic contests against Mooney

Bad news for Mooney.... Canfield is just the first to drop them. Others will be following suit. Many may not realize this, but the public schools and ADs are rallying together, especially after Mooney poached the Bilas kid from Poland. The public schools are done with the "we don't recruit" garbage that Mooney has put out for years. How do you fix that problem? Easy- rally the troops and isolate the bully. Good luck Mooney- looks like another 8-9 game schedule playing teams from outside of the area.

Who was naughty, nice in ’12?

Desouza- plain and simple you are a classless individual. Not sure why you are still employed.

Change coming to Poland schools

What will be restored is clearly listed on www.abulldogforwever.com. Voting no will only make it worse. We are already at bare minimum with teachers Too many courses have already been cut! Not sure what else people expect. Vote yes!!!! We need to step up and take care of our town. If we don't, we will become Liberty.... And that is not a threat- it is a reality.

Poland officials hope 4th try succeeds

You all sound like my next door neighbor. Retired from GM after 30 years at age 52, was making 100k a year with 5% co-pay on benefits. And he is the guy pointing a finger at teachers saying they make too much. He has a high school education and put screws on a car for a living. Teachers have years of schooling and are educating the youth of America. Something seems a little backword here don't ya think?

For those of you against the levy- you need to start thinking about your property values. Liberty was once a flourishing community with great property values. Times have changed people- protect your community and educate your children. These are the foundations that we need to rally behind. Cuts??? If you don't know or understand what has already been cut then you are clearly out of the loop. Visit www.abulldogforever.com and educate yourself on the facts.

Judge: Nick Bilas can continue playing football at Cardinal Mooney

None of these comments matter. This is going to be appealed to the supreme court because this is a precedent setting decision for OSHA. A local judge (Mooney grad) should have removed himself from this situation. The supreme court will overturn this decision and Mooney's record will revert to 0-10 because the state will make them forfeit every game he played in.

Court rules Bilas can keep playing football for Cardinal Mooney High School

This will be appealed to the Supreme Court and will be heard in Columbus where it should have been all along. Having two judges in Youngstwon hear the case (both Mooney graduates), did anyone expect the results to be any different?

There’s another side to the story about OHSAA athletic eligibility

Kudos to the author of this letter. People need to look at facts- and hopefully the judge in the case will as well.

Bilas transfer TRO extended for two weeks

Is this the same Christian school that allows Boosters to provide alcohol and cigars to student athletes after winning big games? They then reward these gentlemen by letting them stand on the sidelines of Mooney's home opener in Cleveland Stadium. Spare me about the Christian values. I respect your son for what he does for our country , but have little respect for a family that turns their back on a community who supported them while he was away ....
