Get ride of Ryan and more will events will come. Bring in someone with expierence and more events will come. Ryan is horable and has done nothing for the center.
Parking at YSU is not as much an issue as everyone says. 3 large parking lots can be found on 5th Ave as well as the deck on Wick. What people fail to see is the HUGE lot that is virtually empty everyday that sits on the service road near the track. Everyone complains how bad parking is but in reality they are simply to lazy to walk five or ten minuets to get to class. Imagine if these people went to Ohio State would they expect to park two seconds away from their class there? The Deck on Lincoln is in terrible shape and in my opinion the university should concentrate on putting up the buildings that will draw students (the new business school and WATTS)
this is retarded. The university is constantly saying how they need to cut the budget but when given the opertunity to make money from somone who oviouslly has money they let it pass. This is a horable decision by the university. It shows a political agenda as the university put resources into the event that could have better been spent on university projects.
Was any reasearch done on the attendance number before you wrote this story? You must not have or you would know you can only put 6,400 people in Beeghy Center. Take into consideration that one side of floor seating(red seats) that holds 1,200 seats was not used and the bleachers at the end were not used that hold 150seats... it makes 6,400 seem even more inflated. 6,400 would meen that people would have been squashed together and even the pictures on the WFMJ (your sister station)show extra seats on the upper deck. In reality there only could have been 6,400 people there if all seating was used. 6,400-1,200(red seats)-150(bleachers) + 400 on the floor (stageing took up most of the floor plus there was empty space) = 5,450-the empy seats you can see in the picture . So in reality you most likley made up the 6,400 to make it sound better when you know that it is imposible for there to have been that many people. All in all 5,000 was most likley a better number for the amount of people in Beeghly Center for the event. Your lack of reasearch is why the Vindy is nothing more than a rag most of the time.
