We do have a sane policy. It's locks up the pot smokers to longer terms than murderers and let alcoholics get off with fines and keep their license. That's because our legislators get stoned on legal drugs, including alcohol.
As far as I'm concerned, our legislators should fall under the same group as welfare recipients. They get paid $60,000+ a year from our tax dollars but don't do anything to earn it. The governor should also be tested. Only a druggie could come up with his hairbrained ideas.
So, let me get this straight...If the parents find out and seek help without the school knowing, no punitive action. If they tell the school, a 10 day suspension? If it's VOLUNTARY, why would they suspend the student? That's a good way to reduce the number of students per classroom without a new levy. Parents have a right to know, but this is a major infringement on the family's right to privacy by the schools.
And the ones who were against this purchase have been indicted??? What about the ones who've been STEALING tax payers money to renovate this money pit? Only in Mahoning County the ones who look out for the tax payers are "criminals". What a racket!!!
The matter is not race, but the fact of MR. GAINS AND ANOTHER PLEA BARGAIN! When are we going to wake up and tell Gains to either do his job or resign? I swear, he's afraid to take criminals to court. Criminals know the worse the crime, the sweeter the plea. No wonder the crime rate here is so high. He needs to take lessons from Dennis Watkins.
Seven and three years each. Hey Gains--When are you going to start doing your job and have the gonads to take murderers to trial so they can get real sentences? No wonder the crime rate in Mahoning County is higher than Trumbull. At least Watkins will take a chance with a jury!
So, who'se going to give Joe and his family a second chance? Nothing can reverse the damage done to them, but the courts may give the SCUMBAG a second chance to ruin others lives.
Another fine graduate from the John Mandopolis School for Sensitivity Training! Why is a cop using deadly force on 3 children? Did he think his life was in danger??
The commissioners thought no one would object to the sales tax since no one attended the hearings. HELLO MORONS! You held the meetings when the few employed (aka TAXPAYERS) were working to pay your salaries! I really don't think our commisioners are good stewards of our tax dollars. Did you see how they caved into Belinkey? ALL 3 COMMISSIONERS AND BELINKEY HAVE TO GO!!!!
How about if they do charge us that extra, we EACH file a small claim petition against them. For about $35 (price may vary by county), we force them to have attorneys represent them at EACH HEARING. Based on approximately 1.8 million customers, those costs alone will bankrupt them. If a judge rules in the plaintiff's favor (which I don't see them ruling against us), FE has to pay the court costs also. It's a win-win for the consumer.
