Mahoning County reviews policy on snow day closings

Will somebody please tell me what exactly Mr. Tablack does as county administrator. Last I checked, we have three commissioners, county auditor, and a county judicial system.....what does he do??? I feel a great place to start cutting back would be with Mr. Tablack's job!! I'm not being facetious, please educate me on his duties. He seems to always be in the center of controversy, but no solutions.

Shooting victims have history of criminal activity

I am a small business owner (on Westchester) and rent from the same landlords. Mr. Dockry is a great person and landlord. They do a background check on everyone that leases a business or living space. There is no way to screen folks moving into living spaces that don't go through the leasing office. They do the best they can, but if a son, daughter......moves in with his or her mom or dad, there is no way of knowing. Unfortunately, in this situation, this man was/is a criminal. Keep up the good work Bart, you run a great business!!

Canfield man gets 3 years for dragging death

Here's the deal. On that fateful evening, Mr. Culp made a bad decision to lay on the road with passing cars. Maybe suicidal, maybe stupid, who knows. Mr. Burke was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Mr. Burke made a bad decison by not stopping at McDonalds and calling the police. Two young people's lives has been changed forever....one dead and one in jail......very sad.

Family IDs one Campbell crash victim; coroner’s delay angers some

I'm confused...the 1/2 cent sales tax is still in place. So why layoff anyone? Are they assuming the issue is going to fail in May? Will the investigator be called back if the issue passes? These questions need answered! My brother was killed in a auto accident. My family was notified by two police officers at approximately 1:00 A.M. the night of the accident. We didn't have to wait until Monday for a conformation. My prayers are with the families.

Everyone seems to comment on the controversial issues, or hot topics. What an awesome thing Amy has done for Patrick. I wish you both continued health and good luck with your futures in medicine and law. This story is worth commenting on!!!
