The MOST important sentence in this article: "charges against farmers for confining certain animals in a way that prevents them from turning around, standing up or lying down". If Issue 2 is passed, huge agribusiness will be able to continue to make the lives of the farm animals intollerable and inhumane. That is all this is about, the small amount of comfort allowed in being able to lay down or turn around in a cage--can anyone REALLY be against allowing basic humane treatment for animals?? VOTE NO ON ISSUE 2.
VOTE NO on Issue 2!! This is another BS filled/blanket over your eyes, propaganda stuffed piece of crap that keeps Monsanto and other big-agribusiness from losing ground to the REAL small farmers who DO care for their livestock. Do you REALLY think that corporations like Monsanto will allow states to fill these boards with actual family farmers and people who really represent animal welfare?? REALLY!? please, open your eyes...VOTE NO on Issue 2.
As a "younger" person working to change the image of this town, all I can say is "I GIVE UP" --no wonder EVERYONE with an education leaves, leaving behind uneducated, ignorant, morons to run amuck. Nice job Vindy...keep putting felons on the front page and encouraging the brainless to speak up even louder. Great image booster. I am joining the rest of the flock who left...bet they don't have to swim against a current of simplemindedness.
