Suspect in killing of 8-year-old Bryce Linebaugh sobs in court

It's unfortunate that this young man has had such a tragic loss because of his own father's actions. That does not give him the right to behave in such a wreckless manner. The child who was sleeping in his bed is the true victim here. Blubbering in court won't restore the life of that child. The time to think about your actions is BEFORE you do something stupid, not after.

MCBDD approves $25.8M budget

Probably not everybody, but rest assured Larry Quack Quack and his so called assitant WILL be adding to their already over-stuffed wallets! The County really needs to do a complete overhaul of that agency....but then when the commissioners turn a blind eye to all of the crap that goes on over there, what can we expect? People who work there are working in a very hostile environment. Lots of qualified people leaving all the time, why doesn't anyone question the high rate of employee turn over? I guess when the folks who are supposed to give a hoot are buddies with the head honcho, this is what we get. Larry won't even negotiate a contract with his people, he hires attorneys out of Akron at a pretty penny of taxpayers dollars. He's a joke, but he's the one laughing...all the way to the bank.

Canfield residents voice concerns over Flower Mill property

DeepThoughts; Amen to that!! That's called envy where I come from. Just because we WILL NOT allow our city to become run down and blighted, doesn't mean we're "stuck up." We want to live in decent surroundings, and pay a price for the privilege. We have the right to ask our neighbors to do likewise.

HIV-positive Randal Brown charged with assault

"In the fringes of society having this disease is normal"???? You CANNOT be serious! What planet are you living on, and where do you get your information from?? Having HIV is not "normal" anywhere. This moron should be drawn and quartered for his flagrant disregard for others. Registration won't solve the problem, castration will.

Day of drinking among friends ends in death of Vernon Twp. man, 20

Stan: You have GOT to be kidding!!!! How quickly the worm turns!! Why isn't this kid an "animal, or a low life"?? I will say it AGAIN, a loss of human life is ALWAYS tragic, no matter where the person lived, or what color their skin is. The absence of your usual rant tells us who you really are! How's your hood hanging?

Omarosa speaks on slaying of brother

Excuse me, but why did whites sit on their rosy rumps while this country was being built on the backs of slave labor?? There is also a dis-proportionate distribution of wealth amongst the very people that this land was stolen from and built by. Say what you will about the South Side, and any other high crime area, the true enemy is poverty, and poverty in minority communities is the direct result of having been denied equal rights for hundreds of years. It is you socially inept closet klansmen who haven't given an honest look at the reasons behind the behavior. I'm not granting ANY race a pass for behaving badly including my own. People are more alike than we are different, yet any time I see an article of this nature, the slurs come out, and the new n-word;"animal,hood rats," etc flies freely. You write as if these people are all high as a kite on welfare system paid for drugs, and can't wait to commit their next crime. I cannot believe that's true. Most people who are forced to live in these sub-standard conditions would give anything to not have to be there. Poverty, a rotten economy, and lack of opportunity keeps them there. I wonder how any of you would react to hundreds of years of opression? I am ashamed for a lot of what white America has done and is still doing in the twenty first century. Face it, there is enough blame to go around. And Oh yes, since you have all the answers, why don't you know it alls go in and straighten out the situation? ??
