I agree, the tests are not geared towards all students, children with disabilities nor do they take into consideration the cultural aspects of the students. The tests are geared towards white middle to upper class students, leaving many behind. My son attended a charter school in Youngstown and was highly successful in all areas whereas he was not in the public school. He also experienced bullying from the other students due to his difficulties which were not being addressed in the public schools. The charter school provided him with a nurturing environment where he could be his own person while learning at his pace. As a parent that is success!
It's easier to point and wag a finger at someone else's mistakes than to look in your own back yard. Jim was good to me, he assisted in a serious situation and helped to resolve it for us, no one else stepped up to the plate. He fought for the under dogs in our community. Since his imprisionment, I have watched many in Congress commit far worse "crimes" than Jim, who get off with light sentences. One has to wonder why Jim was "targeted" and given such a harsh punishment. Granted, he was a maverick but while Jim was around, the under dogs were safe. I look forward to his release, it's been a long time in coming.
Witness: Michael Jackson doctor interrupted CPR
The doctor could be getting paid by someone in the family or close circle who would benefit from Jackson's death. Doc would get a % for his death.
