@praying, you DO know he cant see this right? not sure who you are even talking to with that last post. As for being up close and personal, should we believe you who knew him 23 years ago or me? By the way God can come into someone's life at any time, maybe you need to see about spiritual healing, you are so angry @walter our society is archaic in our belief in the death penalty being just, our laws and beliefs are in line with Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and North Korea. You write of judging and yet you would hold to this barbaric belief of an eye for an eye. The name rehabilitation is established in our prison systems for a reason. That there is the possibility that a person can learn from their mistakes and transgressions and become a productive member of society. Chris has proven himself a changed man and worthy of a second chance.

a polygraph was taken to prove he did not have anything to do with forcing or telling Tommy to shoot. And though you may disagree he did NOT fire the fatal shot, he was not even in the house when it occurred. He is paying for everyone, he has now served 3 times as much as the principal offender. and cold blooded murder? Would you liken him to an adult who has killed out of malice? Vengeance is not justice, and keeping him in prison not serve as justice. He is a grown man paying for the crimes of a child.

I am proud to say that Chris Ferrell is my husband. He is not the person that he was portrayed to be by the prosecutor. The fact that he used such a charged word as "sociopath" to describe a 16 year old (at the time) is utterly ridiculous. If you go back and look at past references he has made to other inmates seeking parole, Trumbull county is a denizen of sociopaths and the worst of the worst. I understand he is doing his job and pandering to the low-thinking citizens of the county, but to garner votes by playing with the future of a man so deserving of a second chance is almost criminal in itself. The libelous nature of his statements should thoroughly be looked at for what they are- lies. The article contradicts itself from beginning to end, with the last sentence stating the actual murderer, the one who in fact killed Mr Lash was Tommy. And yet his age allowed him a free ride, he knew exactly what he was doing when HE brought the only gun that night and when HE shot the man AFTER Chris had left the scene. Please get at least both sides of a story before making blanket statements as to guilt. It is horrible that people are insulting others here as a way of making themselves seem superior- guess what? There is no middle class, and no matter, everyone involved in the tragedy came from low-class families, so before trying to make your words look pretty by flexing your word a day calendar vocabulary, please don't insult others that think differently from you. My whole point is that my husband deserves a second chance, I would gladly put up any sort of bond, my house, my car, my life - for him to be here. I work 12 hour days, supporting my family. I don't drink or smoke, absolutely no drugs, I am an avid soccer mom of 4, I go to church EVERY Sunday and pray everyday for Mr Lash, Chris and everyone else involved in this awful situation. I am a mom and wife, I'm not sure when that became trashy, but it is who I am. If you want to know more please look at www.christopherferrell.com
