100% agree with previous posters. Why can't moms use their food stamps to feed these kids? Backpacks cost money too and in my area, these backpacks are lost every week. But, not to worry, we the taxpayers will give them a new one each week. It only teaches these kids how to be "takers".
I'm curious to know if this childs mother is at least angry about this incident. There has been no mention of this in any of the newspaper accounts. If I were a reporter I'd sure be wanting to ask the childs mom some questions about her friends.
It seems that so much autism began about the time every woman was given ultrasound as soon as she suspected she may be pregnant. I think this should be investigated. Except in problem pregnacies, ultrasound is merely another way for the medical system to make money and bleed the insurance companies.

There should be no becoming comfortable with autism
The only common denominator that I see with the increase in autism is the increase of sonograms on these developing fetuses.
