Weathersfield to ask voters to approve 7.6 mills in spring election

So, are you happy with the status of the buildings and your property value? If not, propose a solution to keep up with the physical needs of the students in a quickly changing environment that would make you happy. If you are happy, then you probably do not have a child that will need those buildings or a home that you care about its value.

This levy is not for salaries. The buildings would obviously be for the kids and their educational climate. The middle school is trash and seborn is not up to par. If you don't live in the district please do not comment. I for one do live there and pay more property tax than most folks that live in weathersfield and will vote for it because i know that my property value will be better off in the long run. Also, look at the current valuation of your home and you will see it has dropped about 5%, so in actuality your dollar increase would not be as large based upon decreased valuation. Not voting for new buildings hurts property value and kids. McDonald, Girard, and Austintown all have new buildings and open enrollment. Time to compete or lose students.
