With Christmas just around the corner, I am already thinking about purchasing gifts for my 14 month old son as well as family and friends. I just found out about a company called Discovery Toys, which I just joined as an educational consultant. The toys are amazing! They are all educational! I strive to find toys that offer more than just fun and they are often hard to find. When I signed up, I had the intention to purchase Christmas gifts (their start up kit cost was only $99 with close to $400 worth of toys! With everything included in the kit, it will cover Christmas gifts for many of the people I buy for!) After getting all of the information, I realized that more people may be interested in these toys. The new catalog not only tells what learning styles will be used with the toy, but it also highlights how they toy helps with autistic children. I have read Jenny McCarthy's books about her autistic son and thought that these toys and this company really work to teach children of all ages and in all stages of development.
