If the woman was assulted, why didn't she bring charges against the Detective and Deputy. Something smells of dead fish here.

You all forgot the part about just staying out of trouble. No trouble, No cops! Simple!

Wow! Enough of the bitching. If you don't like the police, don't do anything to bring them around. Oh yeah, and don't call them when you're in trouble. Call a taxpayer instead.

The departments need to go back to the ride alongs. Then the good citizens of the community can see first hand what the cops deal with every day. They can meet the "nice" people in their own neighborhoods. Then lets see if they want to walk the streets and give back the tanks. Take a nice walk with your kids down South Avenue some night. Lets see how that works out for you.

Better to be prepared for a war and only end up in a street fight. The show of force is the best way to stop a problem in it's tracks. The use of assault rifles levels the playing field for the officers. But to phase out the shotgun is foolish. Both go hand in hand. Who ever has the bigger stick is usually the winner. Our police should be protected at all costs. We pay them to protect us. Nuff said!

Sam is a great lawyer, but you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. He should just try to put a little perfume on this pig and role the dice. Its hard to build a house when the foundation is quick sand. This kid has paved his own road to prison. He should find the biggest bubba in the joint. Run and jump in his arms and say " I am home honey "

That was an interesting little story. It has fit many of our leaders in this country. I might say that we could start right at the very top and work down. So lets get off this guys back with what he did in the past. He has the job, now lets support at least the position he now holds and YSU itself. The one great thing about these positions is you can always be replaced. So good luck to YSU and their new president and may both move forward for the sake of the students.

I say let them weed each other out and the police just need to show up for the paperwork. Why get the police involved when good people are not involved. They want to commit genocide, so be it.

Well said, nicely put.

After the election is over, people won't even know there is an AG's office. In my entire life I have never heard one single report of anyone taken by force and made to gamble! Not one! Anywhere! Ever! The AG's office should spend more time and taxpayers money on crimes against children for starters. There are plenty of horrible crimes out there to deal with first.
