Marc Dann not only had an affair with an employee (which I guess in this day and age is considered ok) but even more disturbing to me is how he managed the Attorney General's office. What a disgrace. It had to have gotten really ugly there for it to erupt into the public eye. If you were hired to do a job and then failed miserably, would your boss "give you a second chance". I highly doubt it. You would be out and someone who did have the ability to do the job would be in. As a taxpayer, I expect to have qualified people on my payroll, not the old cronies that are usually "given" the jobs for political reasons. Funny how we have lowered our expectations of what we should get for our tax dollar . . . some arrogant flunkie who was no more qualified for the job than my dog. Its also interesting how many of these low-lifes come from the Youngstown area. Are we so used to political corruption that we will allow this kind of thing to continue to soil our reputation? Come on Youngstown, lets clean up our act and get rid of these vultures. They have dragged us down enough!
You are the only one at the Vindy with any sense. If it wasn't for you and your very honest and forthright "call them as you see them" opinions of how things really are in this Valley, I would cancel this newspaper.
I can't believe your editorial board said Dan "should be allowed the privilege of" doing the job that he was elected to do and given a second chance. Are they for REAL? We are not dealing with a teenager who is still on the learning curve but with what we thought to be a responsible adult. Come on. Get real. Who's paying them off for that editorial?
Should Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann resign?
