This is a fantastic and heroic story. It is a wonderful example of what we are in this country and why this country is Great. This young man deserves a community award and I would consider contacting 20/20 or Dateline etc to see if they might be interested in featuring the story. WOW we can be featured in the national forum for this wonderful event of acts of courage, determination and fortitude. This story deserves to be told more than just once in the Vindy.
Congratulations Bob. I never look at the wedding announcements but for some reason the other day I felt a need to look. Good to see you are doing well since Youth Services! :' ) I am now woking at the Dayton VA in the residential rehab area. Take it easy and enjoy everthing you have been blessed with. Debra R. RN
I currently reside in another larger city in OH. Youngstown water tastes much better than my current water. You need to try other areas before you make that decision.

I love the retoric Lombardo. You must work for the city. I have had the idea for quite a few years now that Youngstown should be divided up and annexed to the respective burbs. If Youngstown was a strong and vibrant city that would be different. They might have something to offer by annexing the burbs. Right now they would just pull the only remaining thriving areas down. I have listened to the Mayor at various times including on C-Span when he went to DC. He is an intelligent person and has many good things to say but fleecing the outlying areas for even more money when the are already collecting a large surcharge is outrageous. And I applaud Austintown for standing up for their rights.
Thank the Lord. All the prayers and all the demonstrating finally shut the place down. Praise God!! God does answer prayers. And I totally agree that people are beginning to wake up to the BIG LIE. My family just experienced the birth of a boy 2 lbs 5 oz. Just to think that all over the world babies are being pulled and tortured from their mother's womb at that same age. And even older. I am sure that people are coming to their senses and realizing it isn't a blob of protoplasm like they told everyone when they started the BIG LIE. Now you can see the baby in the womb in 3D. People understand it is a human being with features and personality even then.
Funny this woman is now releasing her name as she is running out of town to an unknown destination.
Now that we have our first "black" president in the White House we think it is appropriate that we try to erase all the "mistakes" that were made in the past to appease and make amends in someone's mind. If we try to erase all the mistakes everyone made in the past we would have to live in another world because this world would not exist. And really we would not exist because which one of us has done everything Politically or any other wise correct. MIstakes and doing things right are what make this country great. We need to stop trying to rewrite history and enjoy where we are now. Did you know that in National Statuary Hall in Washington D.C. they are trying again to rewrite history and take William Allen out and put in the Wright Brothers because of the same LAME reason. When you look up William Allen on the internet he was a lawyer, a state senator, a congressman, a senator and the Governor of Ohio. If you look deep enough you can find that numerous people in high places were racists. Including those that looked the other way when Hitler was murdering JEWS. It is time to stop the insanity!!!

Change name of new middle school because President Wilson was racist, some argue
