I live on a main thorough fare on the southside of Youngstown so my street and the two main streets that cross it on each end were pretty clear and passable, however, I was on the near westside yesterday afternoon and it had not been touch. As a matter of fact the snow plow came through around 3:30 pm. Traveling to Austintown, the streets were clear. I work on the northside of Youngstown. I went to the Liberty Walmart a short while ago, the streets are clear, but as soon as I traveled south of Gypsy Lane on Belmont Avenue, the streets are not clear.
It is so unfortunate that we not look more into what has occurred. It appears the police officer who shot the dog numerous times was excersing some sort of power thing. It was a defenseless animal at some point, so why the need to shoot so many times.
What if that had been a human? It seems that law enforcement always has a justification for what may appear to be a violent act.
the persons who usually make comments appear to be troubled and filled with much misinformation, for instance my mother, who is 92 and still works at a counseling center and myself who possess a master level degree live on the south side of youngstown and have for over 40 years, we don't nparticipate in illegal ventures but try to be an example of love, descency and respect to our community
