I love how all of the people trashing the civics have probably never set a foot in there. That's because I doubt they can even get in. Its a private club where people from lots of different backgrounds go to relax and have a good time. Its not "all low lives and scum" as reported by the people on here who think they know everything and in reality have no idea of the truth. If you don't like the south side then don't go down there. Go downtown and hang out with all of the frat boys and crooked businessmen. One of my friends was hit in the head with a beer bottle in 'safe' downtown. It can happen ANYWHERE. And anyone who would say anything bad at all about Lori has clearly never met her because she is one of the best people you will ever meet and would do anything in the world to help a person out. She is the reason we even go to the civics. And for being such a 'piece of trash' the civics seems to be good enough for HBO, ESPN and all of the other TV stations to come and film down there. So to all of you haters out there-mind your own business. If you've never been to the civics keep your opinions of it to yourselves because they are uninformed and ridiculous.
