Who is at fault for stalling the U.S. automakers' bailout package?

That being said I do not agree with the government bailing them out either. They should restructure under Chapter 11 protection and do as so many other companies have-emerge stronger. The bank bailout has turn into a varitible pig roast for all the pork that was involved. AIG should have never been bailed out when another branch of that company holds over a trillion in assets. Next the pizza place down the street will want a government bailout. Where will it end?

Does The guy just starting out at $14/hr have the same responsibilities as the journeyman?, how about the foreman?, general foreman? The hourly worker goes home after his 8 hr shift and relaxes with his family. How much free time do you think the CEO has? How many millions of people is he responsible for? Spoken as a true Socialist! If the shareholders didn't apporve of his pay, he would be out, or at the very least his contract would be ammended! You people have got to get out of the "it's not fair-he makes more than me" routine. How much do you think Honda and Toyota CEOs make? For that matter, take any Fortune 500 company.
He probably deserves every dime, and if he chooses to spend it on a jet then so be it!

At cruelty pretrial, dog owner in gallery shows his disdain

I have as a matter of fact Maite. You mean to tell me all 3 of the members are on this blog?

I see no excuse for ignoring the animals either. Put them down, call their owners, call the pound, heck turn them loose.
I am NOT Katie by the way. We share similar views, although hers may be slighted more toward the defendant. My issue is the bleeding hearts who couldn't sleep and wept as stated above. Come on people, don't you have anything better to do?

Browns home skid hits 3

Where do I start
Brady had a terrible day but that largly due to him being consistantly pressured.
Thomas was being beaten badly so he needed to jump start the pathetic pass defense displayed.
Jamal had his 1st drop in over 350 touches - give him a break.
Kellen has a problem converting from the tight-end to receiver and likes to be physical. Good coaching will correct that.
Braylon-why are they still throwing him the ball? Romeo needs to sit him a couple games to get his head on. Cribbs can't do any worse, for that matter neither could I.
Cower as head coach? After all those years scowling across the field while Pittsburgh humiliated us once again? I'm not sure I could sit thru many games with him at the wheel. This the ..3rd, 4th time the Browns want to start over? The Lions will win a Superbowl before the Browns do. The problem starts at the top and filters down. Lerner arrives a couple minutes before the game and is gone just as fast. He doesn't hear the grumblings of the city. Savage is a great scout for tallent but he has so many hats that he also wears there is no way he can begin to do any of them well. Then there's Romeo, poor clock managerment, poor coaching decisions, etc. he is a great assistant coach but not a good head coach. He'll be coaching his last games as a Brown. Whomever we get to replace him should be a previous HEAD COACH in the NFL.

Mother’s advice: No license, no borrowing car

Oops, my mistake, I took driving under suspension for DUI.
Still think they both need help though.

Mother’s advice: No license, no borrowing car

After reading the headlines all I could think of was - DUH!! You mean she actually didn't realize she shouldn't be doing this? At least now she's telling everyone "don't do it", no sh*t! What other laws do you not think apply to you?
The real crime is 7 DUIs. This man will be on the streets continuing to do this until something unspeakable happens. To say he needs help is an understatement but he needs to accept the help for it to do any good. Send him out on a work crew for a few months to sober him up and dry him out.

Finally a voice of reason in this. Thank you Geomar! We lose sight of the fact that these are indeed animals. Our culture has placed the animals at nearly an equal stature to that of humans. Where is the outcry in other countries when they do accepted practices such as clubbing seals, bullfighting, and yes, even dogfighting? They have no rights as directed by our constitution. Some of you want this man put to death for this neglect, while thousands of criminals who murdered PEOPLE sit in jail. Where is the parity in that decision? Suffer he should, but in a cell, not the firing squad you all want him in front of.

Some poor shmuck will open a fund on the dog's behalf and the donations will poor in. It never ceeses to amaze me the social outcry for animals. Yes, what he did was cruel and unthinkable, and he should be put in jail for it, but lest we remember these are ANIMALS. Some comments wanted to take HIS life? Are you serious?? I wonder if this blog would be so heated if GOD FORBID (and I DO mean god forbid) this were a person and not a dog.
I think I just lit a whole new fire on this blog, sorry

High schoolers simulate running real businesses

Now THIS is what education is about! This should be a requirement for all schools in OH and PA. Hats off to the faculty and staff of these schools for instilling some real life experience in these students.
