I am a Christian and I support the death penalty, especially for people like this. I also voted for Strickland, but definitley do not agree with this latest decision.
I agree, Bearcat. Court proceedings arent supposed to be behind closed doors. The board is incompetent, and the creditors cannot be trusted. In most other bankruptcy proceedings, creditors get paid pennies on the dollar. Let Ardent buy the company and let's all move on.
You have got to be &*%^ing joking!!! So, some cop can pull me over and write me a citation for speeding even though he really doesnt know how fast I was going? That is absurd!
Having spoken with some current county workers, word is that Tablack is a tool, he has very poor people skills. But the reason the commissioners keep him around is because he has the most knowledge about running the county. That is why they brought him back in the first place.
So, are they going to actually put plows on the trucks now? A week or so ago, when we had about 2 inches of snow, a truck went up my street, but without a plow. It was just spreading salt. You would think the plows would stay on the trucks all winter?
I would rather have 2 guys on a truck rather than no guys there in a truck. Most of the calls in Boardman are for medical help. I would rather have a shorter response time in a medical emergency and save a life, as opposed to possibly having a longer response time if the other 2 stations are closed. For that fire Friday night, that condo was destroyed and all 3 stations responded. If only 2 stations were open, with 3 guys on a truck, the result would still have been the same.
