It is amazing that the police department was able to do anything at all that night. I have lived in Campbell for 20 years and have never seen such a wonderful Police Department. Does anyone remember how great they were when we had that horrific crash last spring? They went above and beyond the call of duty when the coroner's office did nothing until the next business day. Campbell PD rocks!!
LOL, I agree with you about asking Juanita Rich if she approves of this. After all, she thought it was appropriate to hold a gun rally in a park where children were playing and cleaning up their baseball field!! Lots of people carrying lots of guns, 20 feet away from children.
I agree with you laddjd. Campbell needs a lot of work, but I am tired of my children being deemed as bad kids just because they live in Campbell. Most people who live here are hard working people like the rest of the country. My kids are not bad, nor are any of their friends. We do have a problem with all of the section 8 housing. We do have a problem with some of the people who reside in the homes. But as a taxpayer who is SO proud of the police department, and the fire department, the only ones I have issues with are the past leaders of this community. Our new Mayor is doing his best with the mess the past administration left behind.
I was not raised in Campbell, but my husband and I chose to live here. The small community of Campbell is a wonderful place to raise our children, Our schools are awesome, our Police Department is the best I have ever seen. We are proud people who do not like the violence. We are not trash, as some like to think. We are doctors, nurses, teachers, and some of us are just normal people trying to make a living. Please do not judge the people of Campbell by the violent ones. Every city has them, but you just hear about the "bad Campbell people" more than the good ones.
