Exercise your right to vote Tuesday

Great column! I hope that young people get beyond the thinking that their vote doesn't count.
Republican candidate Ron Paul has historically brought out the younger vote. This time however they don't seem as active. Maybe it's because of the bad job climate and the recession; they are facing a very dismal future with a huge budget deficit to pay off and no good jobs in sight.
Dr. Ron Paul is the candidate who has the very best record on voting against expanding government spending and for personal freedom - hands down. Last week an independent watchdog group- http://crfb.org/ declared that Dr Paul was the ONLY candidate who's proposed budget would actually REDUCE the deficit.
Any delegates that we can send from Ohio and this district in particular would go to the Republican convention and speak LOUDLY (they are a passionate bunch!) to the party platform restoring statesmanship and sanity. He is the most trustworthy candidate, speaking out for 30 years against the Federal Reserve (cause of inflation & bailouts), and against wars for oil and wars against drugs that aren't working and bankrupting our country!
Registered Democrats and Independents can vote in the Ohio Republican Primary, just ask for the Republican Ballot and vote Ron Paul –you can still vote for anyone in November.

PRIMARY BALLOT

All voters in Ohio can make an impact on the future of this country by voting for R0N P@UL. Dr. P@ul’s delegates will make an impact at the Republican Convention by opposing wasteful spending and wars. We need to make sure that he has as many delegates as possible! Each congressional district will award delegates and the 15 at large delegates will be split. S@ntorum didn't register in time for delegates from our district.
Even Democrats and Independents can make a difference in the Ohio Rep Primary, just ask for the Republican Ballot –you can still vote for anyone in November. Restore sanity to the Rep party. Vote for R0N P@UL!

It's funny how you use all the YYYs etc. It looks like you might be trying to guard against computer*bots - I've seen it on other websites too.

President is changing his tune

I work sort of hard for my money, it is only natural that I should want to keep as much of it as I could. The bigger the government is, the more $ they require.
Ron Paul is the candidate that has proven over and over he is for limited government and AGAINST wars for oil.
I encourage everyone to get the Republican ballot and vote March 6 for Ron Paul

Study: Santorum, Gingrich plans would greatly expand US debt

I think that the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget- website: http://crfb.org/ is non partisan and mainly concerned with the huge size of the federal deficit.

Their new report released this week basically outlines the plans put forth by the Republican candidates and estimates what effects they would have on our nation's debt. It is worth going to their website and looking at the spending and debt projections of the candidates.

They are a best guess scenario but Ron Paul is the ONLY one who actually shrinks the debt. Romney comes in 2nd with debt about the same. It looks like the proposals of the other 2 actually increase the debt substantially.

I'm very concerned about our country's debt and the politicians who don't have the courage to CUT spending. They just direct it to their friends. Ron Paul has been elected to congress 12 times and he has NEVER voted for an unbalanced budget. I urge everyone including democrats and independants to ask for the Rupublican ballot at the primary on March 6 and vote for Ron Paul. You can still vote for whoever you want in the presidential election in the fall. Send a message to the Republicans in the primary to CUT the SPENDING!

Democrats first, Catholics second

This whole thing is silly.
Contraception should be paid for by those people who choose to use it and nobody else.
