AFTER 7 YEARS, 1 MONTH AND 3 DAYS, Traficant coming home

Westside:
"Yellow ribbons?!? Such a gesture for a convicted felon is a slap in the face of our country's men and women serving in the military, and the families of those who have given up their lives defending our freedom. Kovachik should be ashamed and embarrassed of that photo."

If you knew anything about the history of the yellow ribbon you would know that it originally was done to welcome home those who were incarcerated. The whole yellow ribbon for soldiers was stolen from prisoners so it's not a disgrace. And while I won't condone his actions that landed him in prison, he was a hero of the working class in his day and worked hard to protect steel workers in this town when no one else would stick up for them.
