Idaho travelers plan to stay until stolen dog is returned

To Dawn421
I have never taken a penny from any government, nor has any member of my family. You stated yourself, that you have, so whose the liar?

If there is something fishy in the area - it's probably you

Sorry Dawn 421 looks like you're on the losing side and "UsuallyBlunt" summed it up best for the community

You are in symtomatic with the bulk of your community and I thank you for it.
Canine Crusaders has been fantastic and is a charity well worth supporting in your community. As Paul's father, Brooke's father-in-law and Marley's Grandpa I know how much Mabel means to them. They were on their way here for a few day's R & R before moving on to Spokane where he had been called for his support. His boss has allowed him some leeway to stay there while trying to find Mabel but obviously that cannot go on indefinitely. Please share with anyone you know we still hope that Mabel is in the area.
Blessings

Thank you- bit more blunt than me but my sentiments exactly. Youngstown has been magnificant in it's response to hurting strangers. May your community be blessed for it's concern and my hope is still that my son and his family will retrieve their cherished pet and be able to go back to a normal life.

Dawn 421

You first stated your FACTS were obtained from the third hand newspaper report. Please explain to me where the FACT of high humidity was expressed in the report or that it was MORE than COOL - or is that more of your superior "college educated" ( Fred's college of whining ) supposition gleaned from non existent data.
Did you ever have a dog? Your history, first hand history, shows that you are a sad old lady, living on welfare whose lonely life is highlighted by spending her time gleaning through the newspaper for anything, or anybody, on whom to spit your vitriol without ever searching out the truth before running her mouth. You continue to do your community a disfavor by your jaded outlook - get a life, volunteer for something useful instead of spreading your distasteful rhetoric as a means of finding self worth

Dawn 421, you silver tongued LADY? It's so nice to hear from you again. I expect your local community is enthralled by your erudite prose, syntax and your attention to detail. I attach a part of the article:
"Jillings said that since it was COOL outside they decided to leave their 3-year-old bulldog Mabel NAPPING in their van with the windows CRACKED About 15 minutes LATER later it began to rain, so Jillings went back outside to check on Mabel and roll up the windows"
As most restaurants don't allow dogs tell me you haven't seen or done that with your "mythical" dog.
Did you check with the police and read the report, the TV people, the dog pound, the SPCA, Canine Defenders, call Brooke or Paul's boss on the phone - all of whom know the full story and could change your jaded, sad, opinion of your fellow man. It must be depesssing to live in your world so I guess you should get back to your sofa and cheetos and wait for the next person or group you can malign.

Dawn 321 - Again your mouth works before your brain. Opinions should be based on an interpretation of facts, something you have clearly ignored. Please explain to your highly supportive community where you sought your facts. I bet you were just lolling on your couch, watching TV, snacking on cheetos, waiting for your welfare check - see that's an opinion without checking the facts - how do you like it !

Flyers are being distributed and a reward has been offered on a "no questions asked" basis. The community is working wonders apart from the few naysayers, commenting above, who couldn't be bothered to seek out the facts before flapping their lips

I don't usually bother arguing with idiots but in these circumstances I will break my normal rule. The comments by "hurrdurr", "dawn421" and "DwightK" are not only surmised accusations but are views that only defile the splendid response from the local community. As the father of Paul I am extreme annoyed at people who make unfounded accusations of people they don't know and without even bothering to find out the facts. I can only believe that they seriously disturbed to make such outlandish accusations. Did you contact the humane society, call the paper -no I doubt it. Much easier to shoot your mouths off based on a weak intellect. When I first heard I searched the web for an Humane Society in Youngstown and I came across a Facebook page for a Paulina who works for Canine Crusaders. She has worked tirelessly on this project and has received tremendous support from the local community much more than I or Paul and Brooke could imagine. It's a shame that an uninformed few can bring discredit to a community. Just for information to the three naysayers. They not "gypsies, Paul in a foreman on installations of large windmills. He travels to where they send him. He was on his way back to me in Idaho because he was requested to leave the job in Pennsylvania to go to a job in Spokane. He is supposed to be there Monday but his bosses have given him leave to try to settle this business because they appreciate his worth. They have not asked for anything but to look for and return Mabel. They been offered and refused food, donations and even a free apartment while they go through this issue. They don't want anyone to believe they are looking for anything but the return of Mabel. They usually travel in a 34ft fifth wheel but at their last job in CA their truck was totaled in an accident. They left the Fifth wheel in CA and purchased a van to travel to Pennsylvania. They rented a house in Pennsylvania until Paul got the request to transfer to Spokane, that's when the left to return here, to Boise, before moving on to Spokane. They stopped in Youngstown for a meal en route when the theft occurred. Apparently a local resident, 10 mins from Bob Evens, phoned in to say her Bulldog puppy was stolen from her garden the same day as Mabel. Are you going to malign her as well?
It seems to me you not only owe Paul, Brooke and their 2 year old daughter Marley a big mea culpa apology but you owe your community an apology as they have been nothing but supportive in a major way and my hat comes off to them. It's a shame you despoil them
