I only ever responded to your complaints, hopefully they have ceased and this conversation can be put to bed. If you assisted in any way in searching for Mabel I am sure both Brooke and I appreciate it.

To Dawn 421Here's hurrdurr first line:
"What's not told here is they live in that van and are "gypsies" traveling from place to place so the husband can fix wind turbines."
Here is your first post:
i agree with hurrdurr, something isnt kosher here. and are we the citizens of liberty to pick up the tab for them to stay here? probably see that on 6 o'clock news tonight that they are taking donations.can anyone even verify they had the dog? just saying something fishy, too many cars around and too busy of an area not to see anything"
So by agreeing with hurrdurr you have to accept his statement of "gypsies" or you should have disclaimed it.When you insult someone without checking your facts first then you must accept a non favorable response

to dawn 421You were the one who said my son and his family were lying gypsies who never had a dog and were trying to con everyone. What did you expect - compliments! Make uninformed accusations and you must expect negative responses

In fact it cost them a LOT of money - staying in a motel for three extra weeks, food, car hire and gas for searching etc. Then, thinking there were no leads left, Brooke flew back to Idaho, another high cost only to receive a call next day from a woman who said she had bought Mabel for $500 outside a store in Columbus. Pictures were exchanged, the dog warden checked the chip and then Brooke had to drive the 4000 miles there and back to pick up Mabel with the costs incurred for food, lodging and gas. All in all it it cost them a considerable hunk of their assets but the dog was worth it to them. I thank the truly wonderful people of Youngstown and Canine Crusaders for all their prayers and support and I trust other dog lovers missing their pets will find the same effort and result. As for the likes of the naysayers, like Dawn 421, they warrant our pity. It's a sad way to approach life

Brooke arrived in Boise on Monday night and was preparing to drive to Spokane on Tuesday when she got a call from a lady in Columbus saying she had Mabel. Pictures were exchanged and a dog warden was sent to test the chip and it all became real. Brooke left last night to drive back to Columbus. Here is a post she made on FB while on the way -
Bring Mabel Home
9 hours ago via mobile.
The moment is finally here! I am happy to report that I am currently driving back to Youngstown because Mabel has been found! A woman called today and said she purchased Mabel for $500 from a guy in Columbus. She saw Mabel's picture on Craigslist and called me immediately. Once we verified Mabel's chip (thank you Paulina and Canine Crusaders), Mary Dump arranged to have her transported back to Youngstown (thank you Mary) and she is currently on her way. I should be back by Friday and will spend that evening making sure Mabel is okay. On Saturday, I would like to invite all of you to meet Mabel. I haven't decided where yet but I will figure that out in the morning and let everyone know. Thank you all so much for everything! I won't say too much now because it's going to take me a little time to put my gratitude into words. Instead, I want everyone to rest easy tonight because Mabel is safe and will soon be back with her family! :-) :-) :-)"Thank you all so much ,Brooke, Paul and Marley are over the moon

Below is Brookes last FB post from Ohio as she returns to Idaho tonight to rejoin Marley and then to Spokane to rejoin Paul. I am so grateful to all the people in Youngstown who came forward to help in any way . May you all be blessed for your time, effort and love.
On Tuesday it will have been 4 weeks since Mabel went missing. Some of you already know this, but for those who don't, Paul and our little girl had to leave 3 weeks ago so he could go to work to pay for everything we are doing here. He has been in Washington, our daughter has been in Idaho with her grandparents, and I have been here. His condition for me staying behind was that I would not announce on FB that I am here alone because he was concerned for my safety. Last night I received a call from someone who works with a shelter and they believed they had found Mabel. I learned this morning that it is not her and the bulldog they received is currently being returned to her family. The dog was found near here and looked very similar to Mabel but is too small and has a different microchip. I am grateful that this family has been made whole again, but I am struggling right now because I was so sure I would finally get Mabel back today. I have tried to be strong for Mabel, but I have never spent so much time away from my family and I don't feel like I have much left in me to continue this alone. For my own sanity, and for the well being of our daughter, Paul and I have decided that it is time for me to return home. It breaks my heart to leave here without Mabel but it also breaks my heart to be away from Marley. This does not mean that we are giving up. I repeat, WE ARE NOT GIVING UP. All this means is that we need each of you to be our eyes and ears. Someone out there either has Mabel or knows where she is. We have to find a way to reach them. I will be sending Mabel's picture to every vet in the country starting with Ohio. I will cover every shelter, animal rescue, pet supply store, groomer, everyone. The money we have been spending on my hotel and rental car will go to published ads, printed flyers and posters, and anything else we can think of that might help. I will badger every major news source until someone decides to share our story. If local law enforcement chooses to give up on our case, we will go up the chain of command until someone listens. We will not let Mabel be forgotten and we know that you won't either. I want to thank you all for everything you have done up until this point and for everything you will continue to do. I hope that you all understand how difficult this decision has been and forgive me for having to leave. We are so incredibly grateful to everyone and I sincerely hope that this does not stop any of the efforts to look for Mabel. We want our family whole again and I know that Mabel wants to be home. Again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you all for everything...

Dawn 321 - You say:
"i do not collect welfare, i may get some help but it is not welfare!!!!!!"
I wonder what it is then? If you receive any monetary, food stamps, clothing etc from ANY governmental source, federal or state that is not directly related to something you earned then that is described as "welfare" as someone else is paying for it.
Whether or not you deserve it for what you do is immaterial and as I STATED before "IF YOU NEED IT I'M GLAD THE GOVERNMENT IS SUPPLYING IT" - so I don't know why you're running off your potty mouth again and I haven't even accused you of having "invisible" grandkids

To Dawn421From the horses mouth, in your own words -
"@uticashale. you are the biggest a#$hole i have seen on here. you are clearly not from here. this pos did wrong and they fired the employee. i am sick of you acting like everyone that gets some help from the governent is a fn criminal!!!!!! i just gor custody of my grandbabys. am i a thief cuz im gettin help? unemployent from 25 plus yrs doesnt cut it so i need help, so if i a thief then oh well. u need to go back where you came from and stop labeling everyone here."
Another pleasant outburst? If you need help I'm glad you get it from the government but you don't have to deny it or accuse others irresponsibly.
