It is my opinion this program is wasting student dollars. YSU pays full price for tickets to then resell to students.
1,200 student tickets sold at $10 is $12,000.1,200 x $29.50 is $35,400.This means $23,400 was lost. Covelli Centre doesn't have any split percentage of profits deal with YSU, they keep whatever profits they get.
Sounds pretty fishy, right? Especially when other higher educational facilities that hold events typically GENERATE income rather than LOSE every single year.
