Are you retarded Stan? At what point did I say that what's happening is all good? I don't like it any more than you do. I feel bad for the family of every victim in the crimes of youngstown. My point is that you are an attention wh0re who truly doesn't care about what's happening, you just look for an opportunity to degrade people. The only time it really bothers you is when someone of your color is the victim. This was made obvious by all of the names you just mentioned. Have fun at your Klan rally tonight.

I'm not here for apologies Stan. But your sarcasm is getting old and its not helping the problem. We actually have the same opinions on the crime and violence, but the way you choose to voice your opinion is disgusting. I'm sure you probably think you are really funny, but you're not. Furthermore, you aren't a victim. If you were, I would feel that you have every right to express yourself however you want. But the truth is, you are just an arrogant, judgemental, pompous prick who is desparate for attention. You aren't on Vindy.com to help, you just want to be noticed because of some complex you have. See a therapist instead of coming to Vindy.com to release your anger of being a lonely old man. We would all be better served if you did.

Lifes2short.....I don't pretend to have the solution. But I can definitely say that logging on to Vindy.com and referring to these kids as "subculture" and "animals" isn't fixing anything. I will also let you in on a little secret. In every one of these gangs or groups of black kids, there are 3 or 4 white guys that are members as well. There is also several young white women who think these gang members are the coolest guys on the planet and allow them to use their cars, credit cards and bodies to fulfill their needs. It's not a black thing, its not a white thing, its a society thing. The violence is glorified on television, movies, the newspaper, and music. Who owns and operates these media outlets? The violence is facilitated by the wealthy people who profit from the criminal behavior that is portrayed in music and on film. We all need to do better!

Stan......When Youngstown had a black mayor you posted your funny little link about Jay Williams' plan. Now that we have a caucasian mayor, where are the funny links and pointed fingers of blame? Right next to your Klan membership card I bet.
Margeomatic.......I seriously doubt that you live in Youngstown, so why are you so outspoken about the issues within the city. Everyone knows its a ghost town. Everyone knows the crime rate is high. Yet you feel the need to post degrading comments about the city. Newsflash: Not every black person in Youngstown is on drugs and welfare. You are so good at pointing out the problems, let's hear your solutions!
I was born and raised on the upper northside of Youngstown. I have never been arrested, I'm not on drugs, and my family has never received public assistance in any form. I graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA and received my degree in Information Technology with a 3.6 GPA. I no longer live in Youngstown, but my last residence in Youngstown was on the southside. Does that make me a hood rat? Am I part of the "subculture"? I am not proud of the things that happen in my hometown. I'm not proud of the fact that so many black teenagers in Youngstown have no value for life or the property of other people. But I am even less proud of the people who spend their days spreading negativity and hate on Vindy.com. Perhaps it makes you feel good to hide behind a screen name and spew venomous comments. Perhaps it makes you feel good to turn your nose up at people who are less fortunate. Personally, you disgust me just as much as the misguided black teenagers living a life of crime. You are just as full of hatred and ignorance as they are. I do not condone the violence and crime that is committed in Youngstown. But I'm not going to pass judgement without first offering a solution.
