As of the last census report there were approx 31,627 residents in the township of Austintown. There are approx 400-500 of those residence who reside in Compass West, so you can roughly say 1% of the population reside there. With a little bit of research you would have found there are 209 residents in zip code 44515(Austintown) with a verifiable criminal record yet only 1...let me spell it for you...O-N-E that resides in Compass West!!!??? And that is for unlawful sexual contact with a minor when he was 22. So your buddy Tim was not a resident of Compass West and was here illegally, which had you had any knowlege of how things work there he would have had to pass a criminal background check ran through mahoning trumbull and columbiana county. So to further emphasize my statistically proven research on crime in this area out of 31627 township residence 209 with verifiable criminal backgrounds 1 or precisely .00003% reside legally in Compass West.
In summary squarely directed at AtownParent, in Austintown 1 resident of Compass West has a verifiable criminal record. So the other 208 or 99.00007% of criminals could be your neighbor or possibly you since you seem to hide behind ignorance and lack of any sort of actual facts....and they DON"T reside in COMPASS WEST!!

Hey just for all of you making this an attack on the residents of Compass West saying that they are all welfare druggies...why dont you venture on over to the police blotter today? I think there must have been a typo or some kind of apocolytic event because they had a RAPE and a DRUG offense in CANFIELD???? How it that possible I mean we know NOONE in CANFIELD could ever do such things. Then venture further and the WHOLE AUSTINTOWN blotter has one report for COMPASS WEST for TELEPHONE HARRASMENT?? Can you please tell me how this happened and more importantly how do the low life druggie residents of COMPASS WEST afford phone service to harass people???..lol

I'm sure if we all look around or further down our own family trees we all have those close to us that don't have the greatest of economic circumstances and this does not simply make them druggies or low lifes. This was ONE sick individual commiting ONE sick act that just so happened to occur in a low income housing residence.

Ok people let's get real, this type of horrendous crime happens everywhere coast to coast across our nation. To stereotype it based off of it happening at Compass West is plain ignorance. We also had a double murder in Liberty recently does that make Liberty a horrible place to live. Now for anyone making this anything about religious ideology, didn't we have a priest recently convicted of gross sexual imposition of a minor? Then at his sentencing his plea to the judge was not one of sorrow for the victim but concern for not being able to continue spreading his "good word" from the altar. So please for us sane people that see things for what they are and not twist them to our beliefs lets examine some FACTS.
From what has been reported and with the use of a little common sense, yes the mother should be held at some responsibility. HELLO!! She allowed a recently released convicted felon to reside in her home and baby sit while she was away. This proves my case for a law against the non-use of common intelligence. She should be arrested for STUPIDITY if not chid endangerment. Now the line the "abuse had gone on for an unknown period of time", this is police speak for we can tell this in not an isolated incident but cannot prove it and the mother will not provide us the truth to allow us to further pursue it. This is half the issue with society today we allow the "don't judge untill we have ALL the facts" ideology to suffocate common logic and sense. Truth being we will never know all the facts because ALL the facts will not be provided by a MONTH OLD LITTLE GIRL or her obviously mentally challanged mother(see her previous actions for diagnosis).
BOTTOM LINE: This scumbag will serve time for his crime but justice will be dealt to him once inside the system not by the sentence itself but by those inmates not fortunate enough to see their children and that will suffice enough for me. The unnerving issue to me is allowing this mother to be a gluton of sorrow from those of you too brainwashed to realize that subconciously she tempted this fate by allowing this piece of trash to reside with her and her innocent child...and her crime WILL go unpunished..count on it.
