America is a great country, but not one without sin

Not everything is covered in the bible. If you indulge in something and it begins to effect you or the ones around you in a negative way, then it is a sin. God expects people to use common sense. Just like drinking is not a sin, but the bible clearly states getting drunk is a sin. If a person ruins their life over gambling, they have obviously gone too far. It has become an idol. Again, common sense.

America is a great country, but not one without sin

You cannot pick and choose what we want from the bible. It is not like I will follow this rule, but I do not agree with this one. We may not like it, but that is what sin is about. Trust me, God more than makes up for the sin you decide to turn from. I don't know how He does, but He will fill that void somehow. I know.

Ohioans are resourceful; they’ll find a way to gamble

Our area is out-of-date. It is no longer what it used to be. People need to move on and gain vision. I am tired of people holding me back from what I like to do. And, our area needs jobs and a business needs customers. I think a casino on Belmont towards the highway would be great. Who is benefiting from not bringing a casino here? If you don't go to bars, then you don't go. If you don't gamble, don't go. When I had a job, I would go often OUT OF STATE to spend my money. I want a job here and spend my money here. For people who do not go to casino's, you would be suprised how happy customer's and employee's look. Give it a try before you say no so fast.

Where are the leaders in our area? Where are the new business's? You cannot rely on a new Walmart to help us. Get some spine and go after something new and big and do your jobs.

Let’s root for casinos, wherever they may be
