Republicans’ love affair with warfare costs our nation a lot

The reason i ask is because i read the NY Times article. It specifically states that the chemical weapons were garbage, unuseble. I welcome you to google the original article as published and read it.

The specific context of the article is that our veterans were injured and not receiving proper medical care.

Not that the weapons were hidden and stockpiled to be used as you claim.

Soldiers found this weaponry that was disposed of by dumping into lakes or buried. Here is what i copied and pasted from that article.

"The United States had gone to war declaring it must destroy an active weapons of mass destruction program. Instead, American troops gradually found and ultimately suffered from the remnants of long-abandoned programs, built in close collaboration with the West."

"All had been manufactured before 1991, participants said. Filthy, rusty or corroded, a large fraction of them could not be readily identified as chemical weapons at all. Some were empty, though many of them still contained potent mustard agent or residual sarin. Most could not have been used as designed, and when they ruptured dispersed the chemical agents over a limited area, according to those who collected the majority of them."

tn and oviets. Where did you read or hear the WMD information that you are posting in comments 22 and 24? In your comment, you state that you " believe" it was in the NY Times. But where exactly did you hear or read it?

Securing US borders will solve nation’s problem of ‘invasions’

Thank you NBees for sharing that perspective. These are human beings that we are talking about. What hell must they be living in now that coming here and becoming the lowest rung in our society is a blessing?

I wish the "Fair and Balanced" network would be fair and balanced and show this side of the story.

Obama should appoint a panel to work on reforming tax code

They always say that if they close the loopholes, then there wont be a deficit problem.

But then, they dont close the loopholes!

Correction dontbe. Entertainment. Not News. Its "Fox Entertainment".

They must have done some marketing research. If you broadcast misinformation on page one for the grand effect, then come back later with the correction on a little spot buried on the back pages. People are more apt to keep believing the misinformation. The latest misinformation is the Muslim "NO-GO" zones in England and France. How many conservatives now believe that there are NO-GO zones, even though it was a complete fabrication and not true?

The same thing with the Obama birth certificate. How many conservatives still insist that he was born in Kenya?

The news out today. John Boehner will be on 60 Minutes with Mitch McConnell.

In an interview to air on Sunday's "60 Minutes" on CBS, Boehner said he doesn't disagree that much with conservatives on policy, but that the groups beat “the dickens out of me” in order to line their own pockets.

There you have it, Joe, from John himself. Before you say that this is left wing ya dee ya dee because its on the lame stream media CBS. Watch the show so that you can see Boehner say it with your own eyes.

joe juggie. "I hope the following isnt true".

Your hope is correct. It is not true.

Do us all a favor. Before you post one of your articles that you get from who knows where. Copy the first few words and google them, like i do. And you will see that what you read and post is always mis-information (lie) or a hoax.

Martin. Years ago my daughter brought home a book assignment to read. The book was called Fast Food Nation. I started reading it, and didnt put it down till i had finished reading the whole book. It is an interesting read. You should look it up. For me, this puts into perspective this whole illegal alien problem.

For the sake of brevity, one can google this subject, Iowa Beef Packers Fast Food Nation.

Basically, the business plan of these companys is this. Put an ad in mexican newspaper. Promise them work. Bus them up here. Employ them just long enough to the point to where they have earned benefits. Then terminate, let them go and survive on the street. Then repeat.
