Bigben- Yurts, unlike most traditional structures, can be placed with minimal site impact- they can be moved without leaving any footprint behind. They allow people who simply cannot "rough it" due to physical or medical constraints to enjoy camping in places they love. They bring in revenue to forests beyond what simple tent camping can do. Personally, I love roughing it, and prefer primitive camping whenever possible. 50 years from now, my back might not allow me to do that any more, and I'll be grateful for whatever accommodations will allow me to enjoy the outdoors. Yurts do not = condos.
Two yurts at Mosquito prove to be successful
