Since I live on Rush Blvd. I am a bit confused on the undeveloped land on my street and on my neighboring street Euclid Blvd...Anybody know what it is???
I actually travel that corridor to work in Girard and it really is starting to look nice. Treez Please cleaned up 2- lots and planted more trees. The both cities seem to be street cleaning a lot. I am amazed at how much progress is going on. Therefore, if the grass used to be high and weeds in abundance it was probably because the cities were unable to keep up on it due to cutbacks in those departments. So now, hopefully with more money being brought in to these cities maybe the parks can hire more and grass can be cut
I too am a proud Southsider--I am very excited about Bottom Dollar coming to Youngstown. Very much look forward to shopping there. It is so easy to type negative comments--Nobody can see who you are..Why not instead type something positive--umm "Bottom Dollar invests in Youngstown"--Bottom Dollar HIRES locals----Bottom Dollars spends tax money in Youngstown..Bottom Dollar gives back to the community--jeez see that's not hard...or how about this--WELCOME BOTTOM DOLLAR :)

I was sorry I missed it-ACTION meeting. It is nice to see Vicki Allen organize this great event...I believe the Blvd. Park block-watch was represented. I agree all area groups should step-up to the plate and help. It is very easy to sit back and type all the negatives that happen around you, but we seem to lose our words when we have to praise someone or some group. Therefore, hats off to the ICU Block watch group and Fr. Maturi of St. Dom’s- You did well and keep up the great work...
