To this Vietnam Vet, today is the day that war protestors made me realize how many enemies the g.i . faced in Vietnam: Viet Cong, ARVN, war protestors and our government. To this day, I am not sure which party is more responsible for the 60,000 + comrades whose names are etched on the "wall" and our hearts forever.

Effective teaching requires a limit to class sizes. In my high school math class, Algebra 1, there are 22 students. Please realize the greater the student to teacher ratio is, the less individualized attention teachers can provide.
Not restricting class sizes is a recipe for cost savings but it will take away from many students the opportunity to learn.

When the government can provide accurate unemployment stats then I will have a little optimism with the economy.
The unemployment stats the government provides DOES NOT include: 1. unemployed who do not qualify for unemployment benefits 2. unemployed whose unemployment benefits have expired and 3. unemployed who simply gave up looking for employment.
I am sure this is a mere statistical oversight on our government's part. However, I will remain as cynical as hell about the strength of our economy until accurate stats are reported..

Youngstown has many fine people of all ethnicities. Youngstown has many positive things about it.
The bitterness of a tragedy like this is that all the good things of Youngstown are indicted with all the bad things about Youngstown.
I pray for the victims. I pray for our city. God Help Us!
