Ok, CaptTurbo, I vote republican, but do you mix your Kool-aid with Frack water? I don't know many people who want to "kill domestic energy", just do it responsibly for our community. Eliminating our foriegn dependence will help get the country on track. It is not hard to believe that earthquakes are being caused by the process because the process is designed to create earthquakes to get the oil or gas out of the rock formations. So yes...
The one thing I do agree with you on is the suckers part. We are so desperate for jobs that we keep taking the bait, signing land leases and ignoring the problems. The longer a problem is ignored, the longer it takes to provide a solution.
Oh, the good old days. I remember growing up in my hometown when jobs were plentiful and the mahoning so was so polluted by the wonderful steel industries that you were unable to fish or swim in the river. Then, after they closed and left everyone without a job and left the landscape so beautiful with the picturesque broken down mills, full of contamination. Big business has ALWAYS taken such great care of the Valley. You should be ashamed of yourselves for questioning the virtues of the gas industry when they are so generous to the community.
