Mother of autistic son reports 2nd incident at Warren school

Most school districts would rather have special needs children leave for a private school- that way they can collect the tax dollars without hiring the aides and other special education staff. What a damn shame- did eveyone but the mother turn a blind eye and not want to get involved. I hope there are a couple of Moose and Roccos around to take care of those punks and adults who let this abuse continue...

Youngstown board OKs hefty severance payments

I believe the severence is one third of what they are entitled to if it was 100% . Remember, most companies have stock options and the like to bolster morale and employee dedication. Don't beat up on our brave public servants!

‘An important part of the context for our negotiations’

ypboy aka s.f.b. You blame the loss of jobs and poverty to the unions?? Do forget the politicians in Washington that sold their souls and hometowns like Youngstown to every business and foreign lobbyist to make trade laws and tax breaks to sell our workers down the river! It began with the Marshall Plan when we rebuilt the world and for what. 30 of the top major companies followed the law and did not pay any taxes over the last 3 years while shipping jobs overseas or to Mexico...and you blame the working union man/woman...Go back to couch.....

Youngstown leads nation with poverty rate of 49.7%

Let's not blame the banks, mortgage lenders, and investment firms who played each other for a higher profit. Exactly how the ones with money and media wants this to play out...the same sad song and just more sad music of the same tune...
