The pit bull was innocent and should not have been mentioned in the article. Even the State of Ohio has decided that pitties should not be automatically labeled "vicious"
Dave there is no doubt in my mind that you and Aimee truly care about dogs and are doing the best you can with the rescues. However, these dogs were in a horrible kennel for a long period of time- more than a year in some cases. I was at the old kennel many times and cried many times at their conditions. And then they were moved to your place to live outside and be put in cages at night. The rescue group has been criticized by many in the past for the way it treats its dogs. The group has split up because of the kenneling situation. And, unbelievably, the group pulled another dog from the pound just recently. I personally would feel comfortable kenneling my dogs at your facility but not in outdoor kennels and cages.
At least some of the "rescued" dogs were in outdoor kennels with blue plastic tarps as their only protection. During "bad" weather they were taken indoors and caged. Some of those dogs have been in "rescue" kennels for well over a year. What kind of life is that?
Does anyone who drives by know if all of the dogs been put in the indoor/outdoor kennels with heat or are they still living outside?

UPDATE: Croley of Nitro's Law notoriety nabbed on probation violation
I was a volunteer for the group. That's how I know about the dogs and their living conditions and I adopted my pittie mix from them.

The weather is bad for 6 months in northeast Ohio - And last I heard being inside meant being in a cage with no room to move.

Do the new owners still have the "rescued" dogs in outside kennels with only a blue plastic tarp for protection?

Police probe shooting of pit bull by officer
If the police dog was barking and reacting to presence of another dog it would only be right to shoot him too.
I would also like bragging rights for my shooting skills.
