If you really think, you can fill ALL the voids in local, state, and eventually federal cuts, then you either better get a tremendous raise annually, or work three jobs, and yes, save all your money so others can have a good time and retire in the lap of luxury.
At that meeting, ask them what they did with their share of federal stimulus money. If Poland, like most of the other schools, used two years of funds for raises(which is what it was not intended to be used for), hence this is why they will ALL need more money. If I gave you a raise with free money, then someone has to anti-up to keep it going. Oh yes, it must be the taxpayers.
In Liberty, 'duped' means, 'never having to say your sorry.....or accountable....or responsible.' It's a code word for,'we have moved on,,,it's behind us,,,we're all one now.' Miss DeVito, and the rest of the board members, are not only in denial and living in never-never land, word on the street is that she wants to re-introduce 'open inrollment'...what got us in trouble in the first place. Liberty can only move on, when this current board 'moves on'. So for the good of the community, school board... resign, go away, move on....so the community as a whole, can go foward.
Think of all the officers they could have hired by turning the dispatching over to the County. You people in Boardman LOVE to waste taxpayer dollars and the citizens can't obviously think for themselves. Keep passing those levies ....remember, VOTE TILL YOUR BROKE!!!!
All that money could have been put to a better use with both townships going to the County for their dispatching. How stupid and wastefull of precious taxpayer dollars.
Was it the State of Ohio's fault that LLSD went into 'Academic Watch' 2 out of 3 years or the boards? Who ran the local district then, the State of Ohio or the LLSD school board? Who's 'academic plan' did the board approve even when the 'ship of state' faltered causing the first academic watch rating? So, was it the state's policy or the 'blind leading the blind?'
Am i supposed to feel 'sympathetic' for this board after reading this article.....I think 'not.' The article states 'all' the levies that failled to pass, yet the taxes in Liberty are 37% higher than the next highest community in the County. Which translates into, 'others have done a lot better with less.' "Throwing the students under the bus, and daring the taxpayers to run them over", has been the favorite tatic for ALL the school boards in the Valley. But in this case, the taxpayers were thrown under the bus by a lying, deceiving, board that added two, new districts (by breaking up the current school district) without taxpayer approval or knowledge.....the taxpayers were kept completely in the dark. You try not reconcilling with your bank, and see how long it takes before they are 'knocking on your door.' The state board needs to have a special election with all new candidates so the current board can be removed. This inept board, the majority of which are currently employed educators, has approved irresponsible actions completely under the radar of the community it took an oath to serve, and deserves "NO RESPECT" and no more levy money..
They need drinking water that's so bad, officials would refuse to drink it. Then, they MIGHT believe it. Oh, you'll also know it when they are carrying around bottled water.....that's a dead give away.
