Please, i can't take the stupidity anymore! Idiots like Sherrod Brown making decisions like this. Wow what a great idea, spend more money on schools, money that we don't have. My town just had to pass a huge tax increase funded by the taxpayers to bail our school out of fiscal emergency after the state cut funding, but now they have money to upgrade the school buildings? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. We are in so much trouble.
A strong country has a strong manufacturing base. We don't have that anymore and our politicians just don't understand that without that there will be no jobs improvement. The masses will not be white collar workers, the masses used to work in manufacturing plants making a nice wage that allowed them to raise a family in the middle class. THose days appear to be pretty much gone. Until some drastic changes are made, we is in trouble.
Any logical thinking American would vote hands down for this. With this bill and SB-5 i have to say that this congress is trying to do some worth while things for the state of Ohio.
Another good idea is to make the recipients of aid be required to work some type of job for 40 hours a week, Remember that welfare was originally intended to be a temporary assistance program until one finds employment, not a life style.
Come on SB-5!! This is a perfect example to all just why that law is needed. Union workers who have it too good for too long just don't know when to give a little while the taxpayer has been giving alot. Vote yes on SB-5 in November.
What an amazing signature drive!! 350,000 union/state employees, if each signed the petition, had their spouse sign it and mom or dad there is your million. Not impressed.
Will see what the majority of the voting population thinks in November. Keep SB-5 and give the taxpayer the ability to somewhat control the taxes they are expected to pay.
Way to go Matthias! McDonald is proud of you and all your accomplishments in athletics. You have been a pleasure to watch, wish you the best of luck at the next level. You parents have to be extremely proud of you.
