Court consolidation hits snag

Letson and O'Brien should be remembered on election day. They are not at all concerned about the cost savings to taxpayers. They have their own agenda, and lets not forget who's pushing that agenda. Trumbull County Dems and especially Polivka and Fuda. They were shamed into passing it in Trumbull County by the citizens and now have found a back door to stop it. Letson is up for reelection in November. It seems pretty clear that Randy Law is the clear choice in this election. But we all need to remember O'Brien, Polivka and Fuda when it's their turn at the ballots. They are suppose to handle the taxpayer dollars and obviously chose their own agenda over us.

Why didn’t Schiavoni sign the letter?

Schiavonni was smart not to sign the letter. I'm sure he's well aware of what happened in the legislature on May 24th when the dems blocked another court consolidation effort in the Trumbull County. Why is it good for Mahoning County and not Trumbull? In the end the republicans (including the governor) know that this is all politics and the dems sealed their fate by voting against Trumbull County. I hope it was worth it to Hagan and Gerberry. I guess Betras doesn't have such a good handle on what's going on afterall.

Political sparks fly over judgeship

It's a little suspicious that the Democratic Party wants so badly to consolidate these courts when they created a democrat embargo to do this in Trumbull County. Their blockage of the bill for consolidation of the courts in Trumbull County should send a clear message to the dems in this area that what's good for one county should be good for the other. I think Hagan and Gerberry should rethink how much their political alliance to other state reps is worth to their county. Do they really think the governor doesn't know this is political???
