Yes, I've seen it in other cities and it's a matter of time before we see it here and our tax dollars will fund this revenue generator! Those who are caught speeding, not coming to a complete stop, or not wearing a seat belt will receive automatic ticket in the mail. Another step towards losing our freedoms. If you don't think government won't abuse this technology you're sadly mistaken.
I agree with you AAC, I might add that Government budgets are bloated and because of this, taxpayer money is spent needlessly and irresponsibly. Citizens have had to budget and live within their means and government needs to do the same. I'm so agaist raising taxes after seeing how government recklessly spends taxpayer dollars.
Be careful what you want from government, because it can't manage what it eats.
I'm a litte torn on this one, on one side I have friends who are not drinkers but enjoy pot, they are discreet, productive tax paying citizens with families. I used to dabble in the cheeba myself, but don't do to terms of my employment. On the flip side, I can see people abusing it, like the ones collecting welfare and foodstamps, not taking care of their homes, and smoking it in front of their children who will likely turn into their parents and suck the system. When I think about the later, i say keep it illegal.
Keep voting democrat people, you see how well it's done for the valley and it's surroundings. Every presidential election the democratic ticket always wins mahoning and trumbull counties. We lost the payroll center (3000 jobs) because of democratic loyalty. Its funny how ol Obama is talking about bringing back manufacturing which is only good for niche markets until the Chinese steal the processes. People hate Romney because he's rich or well off, but I'd rather live in a country where anything is possible. Obviously a guy who is finanically successful know's what it takes to improve this country, and it would be an improvement over Big Government Entitlist Obama.
I would never work 60 hours a week and only get paid for 40, at least not for long. If companies want to keep good people, then they shouldn't abuse this regulation. I'm one who lost income last year for doing the same work and it didn't go down well, but it's a job. When the economy improves, I'll likely move on. Right now Obama's economic policies are anti-business and have failed. He needs to go.
Government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem - Ronald Reagan
Romney is better than what we have now... We need to remove that big government liberal from office because he is sinking our country into a socialist abyss.
I grew up on the lower west side, and recently had driven through the old neighborhood this summer. What a ghetto! I'm quite disgusting to say the least. It wasn’t a well to do neighborhood growing up back in the late 70’s and early 80’s, but I can remember when people took pride in their property. I have no pity for deadbeats, and no disrespect to the few this doesn’t apply to. Youngstown has nothing to offer potential middle class residents. I think the city needs to have an aggressive plan and evoke eminent domain starting with the most blighted neighborhoods closest in proximity to the downtown area. If a neighborhood is not producing or contributing to the overall health of the city, then these neighborhoods need to be demolished, redeveloped into safe gated neighborhoods. The city could buy up the land at its current value, sell the land to a developer, and in future the city will receive higher tax revenue (ROI) from higher income families it will attract. Only problem is the city school system is a disaster, but with open enrollment that problem is only a minor one.
2 holdup men in Canton wind up wounded, arrested
It's nice to see a heart warming feel good story like this. However how does someone get only 4 years for armed robbery?

Do you believe Youngstown officials will expand traffic cameras to parts of the city besides school zones?

Ban fear fuels run on assault weapons across Mahoning Valley
Banning assault weapons is a government knee jerk reaction to Aurora and Sandyhook just as creating Homeland Security was to 911.

Would you support legalization of marijuana in Ohio?

New charge: Auto bailout, Delphi loans benefited Obama, too

Which presidential candidate won the first debate: Barack Obama or Mitt Romney?
