Ex-union official found innocent

Way to go - ChagesNeededNow - is right on the money. Those of us who do what is right and work hard don't have a say in this Union. This was not a witch hunt for any union official, this civil case was brought by the city prosecuting attorney! Wait till the crimminal proceedings - you will see a totally different outcome - I'll bet "Guilty on all charges."

Ex-union official found innocent

I sure do agree with both timOthy and disappointed. Maldonado, in my opinion, had every intent on intimidating and meancing this female employee. The judges comment that "bad for her health" 'is in the venue of union culture and stress of union litigations' just goes to show everyone that bullies exist in unions and we are supposed to accept this as norm! The man is guilty and pretty much a "cheap thug" and apparently Judge Thomas should be voted out of office! As for witnesses, Domhoff and Trimacco should not be considered credible at all. What a kanagroo court! Waiting for the next installment when the state tries Maldonado.

At YSU, numbers matter

Cindy Anderson is worth every penny she gets as President. For heaven's sake she is one of "us" - Us being those that start from the bottom and work their way up, legtimately! She is no one's puppet - let's give her a chance. YSU is no different than any other big corporation. There are those of us who do a good job for the money we're paid and the slackers that come along for the ride. Instead of slamming YSU, one of the biggest (and the best) employer in the valley, let's get behind YSU and work to make it better. Betram DeSouza is the one who needs to go! He is a derisive individual with a confused assortment of partial facts. Let's rally around getting him fired!

Jury selection to begin today

I hope justice is served and Mr. Maldonado if found guilty, guilty, guilty. Let's remember, the city is prosecuting this guy, not another individual. The grand jury felt there was enough evidence to go forward. Too bad it's not a felony. He is a small time hood that thought he was above the law! He gives credence to those people who hate Unions!

Vetting failed in YSU trustee selection

I think Mr.de Souza should look before he leaps (Bernard and Chance story). It seems that "insider" information comes from de Souza's a YSU employee on-again, off-again live-in girlfriend. While de Souza's living/dating arrangement may be legal, it is not ethical to get information in pillow talk; and he should be the last the throw stones! Just another good example of why I read The Vindicator "free" on-line and won't pay a penny for it. The Vindicator should think twice about keeping de Souza employed!

Now, there’s an honest professor

YSUPenguin - There you go making a broad generalization of all ACE employees. My boss happens to think I am very much underpaid for all I do on and for this campus. Have you ever donated to any scholarship for students or to the annual fund on a consistent and regular basis. This enrollment incentive bonus allowed me to triple my donations in several areas. As for Tuition remission, my kids actually attended YSU unlike many of the APAS (Admin Prof.) and Faculty people. Several of the advisors in engineering sent their kids to OSU for engineering. Bah Humbug, tiny tim (YSU) will always get my support. The more I make the more I support!

Now, there’s an honest professor

I have one thought for Betram. He reminds me of a north end of a steer going in a southbound directions. He's just a troublemaker.

Think we evolved from apes? On the contrary, Kent prof says

At last, science is saying what Godfearing people have been saying forever. Man did not come from an ape..............a much more divine and inspiring reading comes from Genesis in the Bible (BTW - Bible stands for - Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth!) Read it some time.

YSU enrollment increase means extra $4,500 for union members

Lunch Time. CandyfromCanfield (BTW - I know who you are). Such venom and hatred. Your pretty little bottom should be fired. I live in Y-town, support the University scholarship annual fund drive, YSU theater, YSU planetarium, YSU Dana concerts and YSU sports teams - but not the scoundrel of a past president for ACE. In case you forgot, the majority of ACE people elected a new president! There is a danger in lumping everyone together. Get a life. This is so a waste of my lunch hour and your behind is toast if I tell your direct superior you are checking out Vindy.com during your work day which I am SURE is 24 hours long. Goodbye and Good Riddance, you aren't worth my effort any longer. Gotta cut your losses when the opposition is stupid and from Canfield to boot! You go girl! - Blah! Blah! Blah!

‘Come to YSU, we even have computers’

de Souza, you are the Valley's worst enemy. Crawl in the hole you crawled out of. You are aptly named (Sousaphone) because you are a windy blowhard! No wonder the readership of the Vindicator is down. Go YSU, Go Penguins, Go Valley
