I know this kid and this child is incredibly smart and talented. I'm not his parent, but I know him well enough. He reads a lot too, probably more than you do. His reading and math is actually advance for his age. Please leave the negative and inappropriate comments to someone your size and age. In addition, who says he or any children plays games in class? That is the job of the teachers and parents to set limits. I'm a pediatrician and I actually see more parents and older folks your age playing Angry Bird with great obsession (even during the clinic visit). It's not the kids who is at fault, but the parents/adults who set a bad example. Playing games itself is fine, but there is a time and place. Also, having appropriate games for children to play, such as the one Connor developed is more reassuring than some of the inappropriate/violent games that are available. So, please learn to compliment kids who actually take the initiative to bring their ideas into life. He is actually trying to contribute to the society, evening donating money for the kids in Somalia. This is what we need for our future generation. You should motivate kids like Connor and not make a rude comment like, "read a book, kid." So, if you don't have any constructive comments to make to children, I advise you not to make any. You are definitely not contributing to our society.
