Trumbull CSB policies to be reviewed after toddler raped

I agree that they should clean house at CSB, fire everyone. They have a history of covering up for each other and hiding the facts.

It is because of idiots like the CSB employees that foster parents with great skills and intentions get treated like criminals. Here we see clearly who the real criminals are.

Since training to become a foster parent myself, I always felt they were not to be trusted, period.

Criminal negligence and failure to protect a child in clear and present danger.

Remember the little girl that died as a resuilt of their negligence a few years ago?

The parents of this child should get life. The CSB should be dissolved, no reviews or policie changes will ever help these children, one is dead and another now scarred for life.

Rash of Trumbull Co. break-ins puts residents on high alert

I got hit. These are organised professionals. Don't bother looking for a particular vehicle, they steal cars/trucks to use for the night. They have been known to come around and unscrew motion lights during the day so mount them high.
They make several trips from the garage to the road to make their pile for pickup.
They were so quiet that my dog never heard a thing....and it had never missed anyone that's come on our property before. They will try to get into your house too. I now have cameras and all the doors are barred and my gun is loaded if they are stupid enough to come back. I'll shoot them in the legs, drag em into my garage and let my dog tear them up a bit, and then finish then off. They are going to hit the wrong house at the wrong time.

Neighborhood Watch plans Chili Cook-off

Exactly what nieghborhood are they watching? They aren't watching our streets. We just don't feel safe here anymore.

With over 2 dozen break-ins in a couple weeks it appears they are spending too much time watching the chili cook instead.

And they want support money?

When is someone going to call in the sheriff?

Mathews bows to pressure to keep Neal Middle open

The board was merely asked to provide the figures to substantiate their claims. If all options were considered, where are the estimates? If it going to cost, where are the figures. They have been asked time and time again for the figures to back their claims and they have yet to provide any. It is funny that all the cost reasons they gave for building a new school prior to the bond issue were never substantiated. If it costs so much to keep Neal open while enrollment is down, just close the third floor stairways, cap off the boiler lines and only use the first two floors. Much better than forcing parents to send young children to intermix with high school kids only to lose more students to other schools or charters at an additional expense to the shool system. If the board wants tax payers and parents to respect and trust them, they need to be honest and show the facts and earn that respect. It is clear they lied about the septic system, the health department said it was fine. Their plan to move students to the high school had no regard for the students well being whatsoever. I can put up with alot but when it comes to compromising my kids well being and safety, you will will get a fight every time.

Just as I had predicted. It just does not make sense to ask for more money in an economic downturn. A lot of people are out of work and have other priorities. A couple of schools are old but could be updated for much less. Everyone is having to make concessions these days, so must the schools. Where is their plan B?
