Speaking of the clinic, one of the plans for the new clinic, in addition to caring for our cats, is to do very low cost spays and neuters. The clinic is nearing completion, slowly but surely. If it weren't for the negative effects of the raid we would be complete with the clinic. We had asked for $5000 to move into the new building and the Lariccia's generously gave us more than we needed or asked for to spend as needed. The clinic is being built by men in the community who like donating their time to a worthwhile cause. And they are doing such a wonderful job of it. We are really excited about what it will make available to the community. Come and visit anytime during adoption hours. We love you Youngstown! ConcernedCats, you seem unaware of the goings on at CLS. Peace be with you.
I have volunteerd with The Cat Ladies Society for a couple of years. The shelter is a wonderful place to find a new friend. The shelter is clean and colorful and the cats are very well cared for. We are staying true to our mission and are rescuing community cats and kittens and spaying/neutering all of them before they are adopted. We take in special needs cats that other shelters will not and find homes for them. There is a lot of negative communication in this thread. We are guessing that more than one alias commenting here is the same person who would like to do us harm. We recommend you come in and see for yourself. We are open seven days a week. See our website for hours and more information. http://www.TheCatLadiesSociety.com. Thank you.
