Why are the city employees working 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM? Are they are receiving a paid lunch break? If the answer is yes, then that should be revised. They should be on the clock until 4:30 PM or 5:00 PM depending on the length of their lunch period.
The next course of action to be taken now that Miss Anthony has been found not guilty is to try her father for not reporting the accidental drowning of her daughter in the family pool. This would not be a circumstantial case since the defense lawyer stated in open court that this is what happened. Since the defense obviously obtained this information from Miss Anthony, she would be forced to take the stand and testify as a prosecution witness. She would be unable to invoke the 5th since she has already been found not guilty. And if she refuses to testify, she can be held in contempt of court and be sentenced to jail for a period of time (unfortunately it would not be long enough). Then the charges against the father should be dropped. I know that this will never happen, however, it is a bit of wishful thinking.
Regarding John Reardon's comment, “We continue to spend MONEY that we don't have just to make this building habitable, including expenditures for roof replacement and heating, ventilating and air conditioning improvements." DO YOU THINK THE COUNTY WAS SPENDING WAMPUM OR BEADSTO KEEP THAT RAT INFESTED FACILITY AT THE GARLAND PLAZA AFLOAT? At least, the money being spent on Oakhill is for a building that the county owns.
